Jan. 23--Not sure whether your stuffy nose, sneezing and fever signal a cold or sinus infection? Local doctors to the rescue, to clarify the differences. The cold A cold will produce runny, congested nasal passages, sneezing and sometimes a mild temperature, but it won't knock you out, says Dr. Andrew Parker, an ear, nose and throat specialist who is affiliated with Norwalk Hospital. Typically, cold sufferers can perform most of their activities. He recommends they drink lots of fluids and use over-the-counter saline nasal sprays for relief.
