The head of the Albany Buildings Department says he has complete confidence in Director of Code Enforcement Michael J. Alvaro, in the wake of two controversies in which actions of the director have been called into question.
Asked if he wanted Alvaro to stay on the job, Buildings Commissioner Michael Haydock said, "Absolutely."
The latest controversy concerning Alvaro revolves around his inspection of an apartment at 304 Lark St.
