RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Owens & Minor (NYSE: OMI), the nation's second-largest distributor of medical/surgical supplies, recently received a multi-year medical/surgical prime vendor contract from the New England Medical Center in Boston, Mass. The award, which was effective October 3, is expected to yield from $6 to $10 million in sales volume during the first year of the contract.
