Having lost more than 20 graduate programs a decade ago, the State University at Albany unveiled a major new plan Tuesday to expand its doctoral and research programs.
At a press conference at the State University Plaza in downtown Albany, officials said the plan is part of an $73.5 million proposal to boost the graduate and research programs at the four university centers.
The greatest share of the proposed fund increases would not go to doctoral programs at the State University at Albany. Most of the proposed 485 positions for graduate faculty and most of the $73.5 million in funding would go to the university centers at ...
