Vincent Kendrick of Albany is in the antique and jewelry business, but you can't buy anything he's now showing in the display window of his Central Avenue shop.
The 1886 Albany Bicentennial flag, the sheet music composed for and about the city and myriad other Albany memorabilia are from his personal collection.
Kendrick, a professional auctioneer, gemologist and proprietor of K's Antiques, said putting his treasures on exhibit for passers-by to enjoy is done strictly "as a historian." It is his way of celebrating the 300th birthday of the city in which he was born 47 years ago.
