A tentative agreement has been reached in a Ballston Lake couple's fight aganst the town over an alleged substandard septic system at their home.
Jackie and Philip Valyou of Route 146A had filed a notice of claim last year against the town for fraud in allowing the installation of the septic system.
"We have reached some sort of agreement," confirmed Paul Wein, the Guilderland attorney who is representing the Valyous. Wein said Wednesday no money has yet changed hands, and he refused to release terms of the proposed settlement.
