Today
is D-Day for the town over a settlement for a sub- standard septic system in the former home of a town couple, according to their attorney.
Philip and Jackie Valyou were "promised a resolution by tomorrow." their attorney Paul Wein said Monday. "So far I have not heard from them (the town)."
If that settlement is not forthcoming, said Wein, town Supervisor Kevin Dailey will have gone back on his word that the matter had been resolved.
Dailey could not be reached for comment Monday.
Both the town and the builder, Michael Woodward, are involved in the settlement, according to Wein.
