Sep. 11--For many Jersey Shore real estate agents, this summer has been more like Christmas.
After several years of sluggish sales, the housing market along the Shore is booming again as vacation-home buyers and even investors snap up homes and condos.
For the second quarter of 1994, which includes just a bit of summer, home sales in Atlantic and Ocean Counties were up 17.8 percent over the same period a year ago, according to figures supplied by the New Jersey Association of Realtors. Cape May County's total sales were up 11.8 percent for the same three-month period in 1993.
