If he had wanted it, Mike Addesa could have become the head hockey coach at Ferris State College.
But, according to Ferris State Athletic Director Dean Davenport, Addesa, who just finished his seventh season at RPI, didn't want it.
"Mike was a strong candidate right from the beginning," said Davenport from the Big Rapids, Mich. campus. "He made a nice impression here and we would have been happy as hell to have him."
According to Davenport, Addesa had reservations about taking the job because of family reasons.
