Lt. Gov. Stan Lundine, whose labor for the state's plan for the federal supercollider has paid off so far, said Wednesday that he needs help from people in the Rochester area if that site is going to be picked for the federal project.
The western New York site was chosen as one of the eight finalists for the federal government's $4.4 billion super atom smasher. Opponents of the plan say they intend on keeping the heat turned up to get the project placed elsewhere.
