Bill Duffy was remembered Saturday for his compassion, his competitiveness and above all his loving willingness to share.
Those were the words of friends and relatives who filled the pews of St. John the Evangelist Church on Saturday morning to attend funeral services for Duffy, a veteran newsman and political reporter for WRGB-TV (Channel 6) who died Wednesday of an apparent heart attack at the age of 47.
About 300 people attended the funeral Mass. Internment was in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Schenectady.
