Jan. 25--ALBANY -- The Chocolate Gecko has a new owner. Terra Stratton, a fundraiser and entrepreneur who has been in the Capital Region for about a decade, purchased the chocolatier for an undisclosed amount. The business had been listed at $65,000. Stratton, 38, a Kansas City native, also runs a local business that caters to law enforcement professionals. She cited just one reason for buying the shop: "It's chocolate. When I heard the company was for sale, I couldn't resist."
