Federal prosecutors trying to break up the Bonanno crime family said Wednesday that they have filed a unique civil racketeering suit designed to keep its members from doing businesses together and bar it from taking in new recruits.

The suit outlines 196 crimes, including attempted murder, gambling, narcotics trafficking, loan sharking and labor racketeering, allegedly committed by those named as defendants.
