For the last three weeks, a Columbia County prosecutor has been piling up evidence in an attempt to prove that a high school honors graduate shot to death three family members and his father's girlfriend Dec. 13.
The prosecution's case against 18- year-old murder suspect Wyley Gates, led by District Attorney Eugene Keeler, is expected to end by midweek.
Then, defense attorney Charles J. Wilcox will have his turn before Judge John G. Leaman and a jury of six men and six women.
