When you look at Jean-Claude Van Damme's muscular body and see how he uses it as a lethal weapon in his bloody action films, you can't imagine this guy ever feeling defenseless.
But in the real-life jungle that is Hollywood, Van Damme says he often feels completely unarmed.
``You need a powerful weapon when you go to war in Hollywood, and the best weapon in this town is a good director,'' said the Belgian-born actor, the so-called ``Muscles From Brussels'' whose latest film, ``Timecop,'' opens today.
