After a vacation that lasted 65 million years, the dinosaurs returned to Albany on Tuesday.
Emerging from unmarked tractor- trailers at a rear loading dock behind the Cultural Education Center, seven of the giant reptiles were seen creeping through a door that leads to the exhibit area of the state museum.
After 65 million years, they probably didn't recognize the place. The last time dinosaurs were seen in the Capital District there was no Empire State Plaza, no Hudson River and Erastus Corning had not yet been elected.
