"Meet me in St. Louis" was the shared refrain of several Capital District senior citizens this week.
That's where the U.S. National Senior Olympics will take place Saturday through July 2. Sixty-six-year-old Howard Westerholt of Colonie cycled his way to a spot in the national competition. Margaret and Henry Steinbiss, 69 and 74 respectively, of Ballston Spa did the backstroke. Ernest Blanchet, 74, bowled his way west from Troy.
