For me, and probably all dieters, there are some fairly predictable bumps on the Road to Weight Loss. One bump that's particularly vexing: a plateau.
Let me explain. I'm moving smoothly forward on my weight loss, losing weight every week and then - boom! -I stop losing weight. The same numbers show up on the scale week after week.
My activity levels are the same and I've kept track of every bite and not increased my intake. So what happens?
