Lightning struck twice Friday, creating two giant holes on a team which was already battered. The Moncton Golden Flames, who lead the Adirondack Red Wings, 1-0 in their best-of-7 American Hockey League quarterfinal playoff series, had their top two scorers taken away.
"I made a mistake this morning," said Flames coach Terry Crisp on Friday. "I answered the phone."
Two rings produced two major holes in Moncton's lineup against the Red Wings tonight at the Glens Falls Civic Center (7:20 p.m., WROW 590 AM).
