In the past two months, Robert McMillan has traveled 20,000 miles around New York state trying to convince party leaders and voters he is serious about his attempt to unseat U.S. Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
McMillan, a little-known lawyer from Garden City, said Tuesday he's starting to make progress, getting some name and sight recognition among the public and the equally important campaign contributions are starting to roll in.
