A 24-year- old Saratoga Springs man who settled a civil case stemming from a 1984 fatal traffic accident for $1.1 million will be arraigned Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Saratoga Springs police said Tuesday that James B. Dorsey Jr. of 487 Broadway, Apt. 3, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Friday at Circular and LaFayette streets. Dorsey also was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.10 percent - the level at which a person is legally intoxicated, according to police records.
