MOYOCK, N.C. - This small town doesn't always see eye to eye with its most famous resident . Ever since Blackwater USA mushroomed into an international behemoth, squabbles have flared up over traffic, noise, zoning and the like.
But death has a way of mending fences - at least temporarily. On Tuesday, five Blackwater security contractors died in Baghdad. It was the company's second-deadliest day, bringing to 30 the number of men killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Wednesday, as news spread of the losses a world away, the town grieved for its own.
