Sen. Albert Gore Jr. on Friday criticized those who leaked stories about Democratic presidential rival Sen. Joseph Biden, as controversy grew about who leaked stories on Biden's failure to credit others for key parts of speeches.
Rep. Richard Gephardt, another Democratic hopeful, strenuously denied he or his aides were the source of the information for stories about the Delaware senator's plagiarism in law school and in recent speeches.
CBS News said Gephardt aides had been passing out such information in Washington, and the Chicago Tribune quoted sources as also pointing the finger at the Missouri representative.
