No one is prouder of his four Olympic gold medals than Carl Lewis. And no one feels more strongly that they are tainted.
"The Russians and East Germans did not compete in 1984. That's like the Lakers deciding to boycott the NBA season next year. The team that wins could say the Lakers are old and over the hill and they weren't going to win anyway, but the truth is you don't know. It just wouldn't be the same without them.
"That's why I want the Russians and East Germans there this year. I want everyone there."
