ALVISO, Calif., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TiVo Inc. , the creator of and a leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), today announced the election of Jeffrey T. Hinson, 51, to the TiVo Board of Directors. Mr. Hinson will serve on the Audit Committee. Mr. Hinson's election increases the membership of the TiVo board to nine, including seven independent, outside directors. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Hinson, independent consultant and member of the boards of Live Nation, Inc. and Windstream Corporation, has extensive experience and expertise in media and corporate finance.
