Dr. Leonard Miller spent 25 years of his life as a dentist taking care of the health needs of other people. Now, said his wife, Caroline, "He has special health needs and there is no care available for him."
Miller, once a busy professional and family man, needs someone to tell him to get up in the morning and how to get dressed, one slipper and one sock at a time.
He has had no memory since the oxygen supply to his brain was cut off for 30 minutes during an episode of cardiac arrest. He is diagnosed as having a brain injury called anoxicence encephalopathy.
