Across the Capital District New Year's Day, city and town officials took oaths of office and pledged the best for their community in 1988 - economic development, a better quality of life, improved services and a monitoring of growth.
In Clifton Park, Supervisor Kevin Dailey, a Democrat, was sworn in by Town Justice Robert A. Rybak and urged a spirit of cooperation from the bipartisan Town Board.
