SYDNEY, Jan 28 Asia Pulse - Senior intellectual property (IP) rights experts are meeting in Sydney this week for a major conference ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference later this year.
Attorney-General Philip Ruddock will officially open the Trading Ideas Symposium, which is the first private sector event of the APEC 2007 calendar.
Leading business executives and IP policy planners will attend the conference, which aims to help businesses improve their understanding of the importance of IP and ways to better protect, commercialise and enforce IP rights.
