Jan. 28--For months, Barbaro's biggest medical issues have involved his left hind foot -- not the right hind leg, the one that suffered catastrophic injuries in May's Preakness Stakes. But doctors at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center now are wrestling with issues regarding his overall comfort in both hind feet, his co-owner Gretchen Jackson said yesterday. "He's got a lot of issues, and not any of them is bad enough to say good-bye. But put together, it's not a good day for Barbaro," Jackson said in a telephone interview late in the afternoon.
