The only dinnerware at Jorgensens, Ft. Wayne, Ind., are platters and dishes with fish designs. Yet, the store is the choice of many soon-to-be-wed couples. In the '90s, many couples are registering for things beyond tabletop, and Jorgensens' bridal registry is a logical destination store. "There seem to be quite a few young couples who aren't interested in tabletop but would like a Lladro figurine, for example. One couple, not too long ago, signed up for a pair of fly fishing rods reels. They were going on a fly fishing trip for their honeymoon." And the store's many picnic baskets often find their way onto bridal registry cards.
