Jan. 28--St. Joseph got a taste of the kind of teams it might face in the playoffs on Saturday with a 70-40 loss to the San Antonio Cornerstone Lady Warriors at the St. Joseph gym. The non-district loss comes after the Lady Flyers' 4-0 start in TAPPS District 3-5A, but head coach Carrie Myers doesn't think it will be a stumbling block for the second half of district play. "We played hard even though we made some metal errors," Myers said. "I don't think it's going to be a problem. I know these girls will come out ready to play hard on Tuesday."
