Jan. 29--Friday night football and weeknight high school basketball games are a rich tradition in Oklahoma, as well as many other states. Unfortunately, it takes only a handful of troublemakers to threaten that tradition. Fights during high school sports events don't happen often, but even rare occurrences ought to be enough to raise the concerns of administrators, coaches, parents and the athletes. The most recent is a fight among fans during a basketball game between Booker T. Washington and McLain high schools.
