Illegal online TV stations defy SARFT
Shanghai. January 29. INTERFAX-CHINA - The majority of online TV stations which China's State Administration of Radio, Film and TV recently defined as illegal and planned to shut down are still running their business.
In late December, SARFT published the names of seven online TV stations that were producing and distributing self-produced programs without the necessary licenses. Of these seven, only China International Media Internet TV and Central Online TV 2 suspended their businesses.
