BOULDER, Colo., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh Produce Sportswear co-founders Thom and Mary Ellen Vernon took corporate citizenship one step further by making it a family affair. Partnering with the Youth With a Mission (YWAM) San Diego/Baja organization, the Vernons and their two young sons spent their holiday constructing and furnishing five Homes for Hope for underprivileged families in Baja, Mexico. Founded in 1991, YWAM has built nearly 2000 Homes for Hope for needy families and is funded by individuals like the Vernons who make the trip to build the homes.
