MILWAUKEE -- By solving customers' refrigeration problems with installation of ammonia-based systems, Illingworth Corp. will add at least $1 million to its projected $16 million annual revenues this year -- a classic case of doing well by doing good.
"With the CFC issue creating changes and raising questions, we had been intensively discussing expanding our commercial-industrial refrigeration business, focusing on ammonia systems, but we knew we had to have the right person to develop the program," said John Illingworth, president.
The "right person" was acquired Nov. 1, 1992, as part of a package deal.
