Article: International Truck and Engine lays off 140 at tech center International Truck lays off 140: Project completion is one reason given for reduction.

Jan. 31--International Truck and Engine Corp. announced Tuesday it is reducing its work force at the company's Truck Development and Technology Center in Fort Wayne by about 140 employees.

Employees affected were notified of their status Tuesday. A majority of these employees will be leaving by Thursday. The remainder will leave in the next few months as projects are completed.
