Gary Kelly spoke with the Rocky Mountain News about Southwest Airlines' first year in Denver, its growth plans here and unidentified flying objects.
1. What are the top factors you take into consideration when deciding which cities to serve from Denver?
The potential for more passengers and customers is at the top of the list. Quickly following that is our physical capacity. Obviously you have to have the people and the airplanes, etc. With Denver all those things add up in a very bullish way. We have 33 daily departures, and while that's a rapid escalation of service for Southwest relative to the size ...
