Plan sponsors looking for value in pharmacy benefit manager services may not find it in the form of lower costs alone. Companies also get a significant benefit from financial transparency, according to a study by the Pharmacy Benefit Manager Institute of more than 540 employers.
The annual PBM Customer Satisfaction Survey asks employers to rate their PBMs on 16 dimensions of service in the areas of plan design and support, administrative functions, network design and clinical services.
