ACQUISITIONS
United Paint & Chemical, Southfield, acquired the functional coatings unit of Akzo Nobel, Pontiac. United Paint also completed a simultaneous acquisition of Hunting Industrial Coatings, Cincinnati, and Hunting Industrial Coatings, Cheshire, England, from Hunting plc U.K. All firms design and manufacture automotive coatings.
RGIS, Auburn Hills, has acquired Lotons Australia, Lotons New Zealand and Lotons Singapore, an inventory service headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.
