US GE Money Bank's Czech unit aims to attract new customers with fixed-fee accounts

PRAGUE. FEBRUARY 1. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - US-based GE Money Bank's Czech subsidiary Thursday launched a new current account program, with a single flat fee for retail clients and small-and-medium sized (SME) businesses, aimed at acquiring new clients, the bank's representatives told a press conference Thursday.

"Our new bank account called Genius Active should bring more transparency and simplicity to the clients' spending on banking fees," the bank's spokesperson Eva Chaloupkova said.
