Polish trade unions oppose company strategy of copper miner KGHM
WARSAW. FEBRUARY 1. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The Copper Industry Workers Trade Union (ZZPPM) disapproved of Polish copper and silver producer KGHM's strategy for 2007-2016, and accused the company's management of ignoring the union when assembling the document, Polish daily Parkiet reports Thursday.
"The management did not consult [the company's] long-term development guidelines with us," ZZPPM president Ryszard Zbrzyzny said. "It ignored the workers' council, which has the right to obtain thorough information about the company."
