In the videogame battle between the hedgehog and the gorilla, the ape looks poised to become the victor.
Sega of America says it is throwing its largest marketing campaign ever, worth $45 million, behind Sonic & Knuckles, which went on sale Oct. 18. But industry observers are predicting Nintendo of America's Donkey Kong Country will be more successful upon its Nov. 21 release, even with less than half the promotional support of Sonic.
