Feb. 5--More than a few Coulee Region senior citizens hit the panic button when they see a tax form, said Don Frank of La Crosse. "They don't know what to do." As we talked about tax preparation, my mission was to understand and share useful information for seniors who harbor tax-time trepidations. Don, 76, is the La Crosse coordinator for the AARP Tax-Aide counseling and preparation service and is among 20 retired seniors who volunteer to provide help free of charge.
