LIME ROCK, Conn., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The New World Power Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: NWPC) announced today that it has signed a joint venture agreement with China Chang Jiang Energy Co. Group and Metropolitan Enterprises Corporation to develop renewable energy projects in China.  The new venture has been named "Shenzhen China Chang Jiang New World Power Company" (Chang Jiang New World) and will establish headquarters in Shenzhen, near Hong Kong.
