NAGOYA, Feb 5 Asia Pulse - Ricoh Elemex Corp. (TSE:7765), a Ricoh Co. (TSE:7752) subsidiary that manufactures copiers and various types of information equipment, has removed all conveyor belts from its main factory in Ena, Gifu Prefecture, and replaced them with wheeled carts.

The change cost Ricoh Elemex tens of millions of yen, but enables the firm to respond faster to changes in production plans.
