SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1994-- Imatron Inc. (NASDAQ:IMAT) announced Tuesday that eight papers on the application of the company's Ultrafast CT technology to the diagnosis of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease were presented at the 67th Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association in Dallas, Nov. 14-17.
These presentations highlighted the ability of Imatron's Ultrafast CT scanner to detect and determine the extent of coronary artery calcification as a marker for coronary atherosclerosis.
