CHICAGO, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- There are nearly 1,200 professional nonprofit arts organizations in the Chicago region thanks to a dramatic surge in recent years in new groups established, particularly in the city of Chicago, according to a new study just released by the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelly Foundation of Chicago.
