Feb. 6--They thought it was junk, just faded letters and newspaper clippings crammed in a briefcase inside a rundown barn on land about to be sold for development.

Roz Foster and the other members of the North Brevard Heritage Foundation had been scouring the property for anything worth saving when they came across the black leather satchel. It was so frayed it fell apart in her hands.

It wasn't until she saw the name, Harry T. Moore, scrawled across an envelope that Foster realized they had stumbled onto a historic treasure that had been missing for more than a half-century.
