It is glaringly apparent that Susan George, judging by her article, 'Whose Europe? Our Europe!' (Europa! NI 394), has no real understanding of the immense contribution made by the Soviet Union in saving Europe and, indeed, the rest of the world from the depravities of German fascism and Japanese militarism.
