COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Big Lots, Inc. today reported comparable store sales for stores open at least two years at the beginning of the fiscal year increased 4.9% for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2006. The fourth quarter comparable store sales were at the high end of the Company's guidance issued on November 16, 2006. Fourth quarter retail sales for the fourteen week fiscal quarter ended February 3, 2007 increased 10.7% to $1,531.4 million, compared to $1,383.2 million as revised for the thirteen week fourth quarter in fiscal 2005.
